Kalma Clan: The Fallen
This is the page for the dragons who have died in the Passage. This is for a reference to the clan's history only. These dragons will not appear in Genessia. These dragons have left their mark on the clan and gone on to Dragon Heaven.

August 4, 2014 – September 15, 2014
Breed: Fae Male
Element: Lightning
About: Dugan was the first healer dragon found in an egg that Qubine had brought home. He was one of the first to begin his Passage with Coco and Kladeos. Unfortunately, Dugan was the first one to die in said Passage, when they faced the Centaurs in the Scorched Forest.

September 1, 2014 – November 18, 2014
"Ariana and Sterling are not the first children I've lost, and I'm certain they won't be the last."
Breed: Guardian Male
Element: Shadow
About: Kladeos was the third dragon egg found by Qubine. He formed the first team with Dugan and Coco. He also bred with the Mirror, Anesia, and bore one surviving son named Steele. After Steele's death, Kladeos and Anesia mated a second time, giving birth to three more hatchlings: Ariana, Sterling, and Tyra. Unfortunately, Anesia died just before the three became adults. When Ariana and Sterling isolated Tyra for being different from them, Kladeos tried to talk to them, to convince them to treat Tyra better. He showed them where Anesia was buried, only to have her rise from the grave as a zombie dragon. This only lasted for a week before Anesia and the other zombie dragons returned to their graves. Kladeos and Anesia shared one more understanding glance with one another before Kladeos finished re-burying her.
Kladeos then had to bear the loss of Ariana and Sterling during their Passage. Kladeos himself died in his Passage while training in the Waterway with Coco and Kincaid.

Element: Earth
About: Anesia hatched from an Earth egg that Qubine had found. Qubine was grateful for a female dragon to breed, but it still didn't solve the lack of healers. Anesia bred with Kladeos, giving birth to their first surviving son, Steele. She then began her Passage with Azalea and Saphira. When Saphira died in the Scorched Forest, Steele took her place. Steele later died in the Sandswept Delta. Afterwards, Anesia and Kladeos bred a second time, bearing three surviving children: Ariana, Sterling, and Tyra. Anesia and Azalea attempted to continue on their own, but Anesia died in the Sandswept Delta while trying to gather Serthis Poisons for Orphne. She died just before her new hatchlings matured.

Element: Plague
About: Saphira was a fighter at heart. Even as a hatchling, she attempted to fight Qubine. Qubine simply put her down for a nap, so to speak. Saphira had been overconfident in herself, wanting to fight to the bitter end. Her ending was indeed bitter as the Centaurs killed her with a single Ice Bolt in the Scorched Forest.

Element: Wind
About: Xander was a friendly Wind dragon who was truly proud of his element. He became best friends with Steele in his short life. He began his Passage with Amadeus and Malus, until he was killed in the Scorched Forest.

October 6, 2014 – October 15, 2014
"Xander was a Wind dragon...and he was proud of it. I don't know if I can be as proud as he was, but...at least I can appreciate my own element now."

About: Steele was the sole surviving offspring from Kladeos and Anesia's first nest. His parents had named him for his toughness in the face of death. When Steele matured, he began his Passage with Anesia and Azalea, replacing Saphira. Steele cursed his element after being wounded in battle, and Qubine warned him to know his element. Steele became close friends with Xander after a heart to heart regarding their pride from their elements. When Xander was killed, Steele was enraged, racing off into the Scorched Forest for vengeance. He killed the Crowned Bonepriest easily with his Nature-based attack, giving him a new appreciation for his element. However, Steele was killed the following day in the Sandswept Delta, thanks to the Serthis' plague-based magical attack. With his final few seconds, Steele muttered an apology to his parents for letting them down.

"I am the terror that flaps in the night! I! AM! BERYL!!"
Breed: Fae Male
Element: Plague
About: A Fae hatched from a Plague egg that Malus and Amadeus had been given by Tomo. The clan named him for his bright red eyes that stood out from his dark scales. From the time he reached maturity, Beryl developed a fascination for theatrics, adding a sense of drama to everything, from triumphs to tragedies.
Upon learning of the plague, Beryl decided to plead with the Plaguebringer to remove it from the lair. The clan opposed the idea, except Malus, who coaxed the clan into following them by kidnapping Azalea. In response to Beryl's plea, the Plaguebringer offered to revive the dead dragons at the beginning of the Plague holiday. She fulfilled her promise, but the dead dragons were only revived as zombies who then attacked the survivors.
At Qubine's command, Beryl bred with Tyra, hatching two babies, named Dahlia and Barlow. The hatchlings later left the clan after reaching adulthood. When Katarina joined the clan, she and Beryl immediately hit it off, both putting on their theatrics and bravado. The two were excited to breed with one another, but their single egg turned out to be stillborn.
Beryl began his Passage with Lazarus and Tyra. They made it all the way to the Bamboo falls, where Tyra died. Beryl and Lazarus put their training on hold. Some time later, Katarina died during her Passage, leaving Beryl grief-stricken. As a result, he lost most of his spirit, treating everything as a tragedy. He even pushed away Rafadel when she tried to talk to him, because he only saw her as Katarina's ghost.
After Handel and Aether successfully completed the Bamboo Falls as a pair, Beryl and Lazarus attempted to continue on their own as well. They weren't as successful, as Beryl was stricken with a Trick of the Light's Bright Bolt. Lazarus almost saw a sense of relief in Beryl's expression as he died...relief to join Katarina in the afterlife.
Beryl was buried next to Katarina in the Burial Grounds, and Azalea commented that the lair was much quieter without them.

Element: Lightning
About: Merrick was a Tundra who was hatched a Lightning egg found by Azalea, Anesia, and Steele in the Scorched Forest. When he was ready to breed, Qubine arranged for him to breed with Ariana. They had five eggs, but only three survived, named Reiko, Kitty, and Brenna. Merrick was the one to choose Kitty's name, because he couldn't think of anything better.
Shortly after, Merrick began his Passage with Ariana and Sterling. They made it to the Scorched Forest, where both of the siblings were killed by the Centaurs, forcing Merrick to flee. Merrick felt so full of guilt as he went to inform Kladeos of his hatchlings' deaths. He also noticed how lonely Tyra was, after being isolated from her siblings and then losing him. Kladeos seemed to alienate himself as well. Sympathizing with Tyra, Merrick assured her that he would be there for her, even if no one else was. The pair then went to the Nesting Grounds to breed, but later sent their hatchlings to live in another clan.
Merrick resumed his Passage with Handel and Aether, but fell in the Bamboo Falls after encountering four Serthis with the elemental advantage.

About: The first offspring from Kladeos and Anesia's second nest. Ariana was vain and prideful, bonding with her equally vain and prideful brother Sterling. She immediately isolated her sister Tyra for being a different color. At first Ariana was infuriated when Qubine refused to allow her to take her Passage until she'd had a chance to breed offspring, but calm down when she heard the reasons.
Ariana bred with Merrick, giving birth to three offspring: Reiko, Kitty, and Brenna. She then began her Passage with Sterling and Merrick, but both she and Sterling were killed by the Centaurs in the Scorched Forest.

About: The second hatchling from Kladeos and Anesia's second nest. Sterling was proud to become a warrior and bonded with his prideful sister Ariana, while isolating his other sister Tyra.
Sterling had not gotten to breed, as they had plenty of male dragons available for it. He began his Passage with Ariana and Merrick, but died in the Scorched Forest along with his sister.

"Why does it matter!? Merrick is dead! My parents are dead! My siblings are dead! Everyone I love is dead! Nothing I do will ever make a difference!!"

About: The third hatchling from Kladeos and Anesia's second nest. Because she had pink scales, rather than the silver scales that her siblings had, she was isolated and ridiculed by them. Her father Kladeos had tried to help her, since Anesia had died before the three hatchlings matured, but had little success. While Ariana had bred with Merrick, Tyra bred with Beryl and birthed two hatchlings of their own, named Dahlia and Barlow. The offspring left the clan after they matured.
Despite the way Ariana and Sterling had treated her, Tyra was still saddened to hear of their deaths in the Scorched Forest. She even felt Kladeos distancing himself from her in his own grief. But then Merrick, the sole survivor of Ariana and Sterling's Passage team, assured Tyra that he would be there for her. The pair then bred a nest of their own, but their offspring left the clan once they matured.
Shortly after, Merrick died in the Bamboo Falls. Unable to endure the heartache of losing everyone she cared for, Tyra dragged Beryl and Lazarus out to the Bamboo Falls to continue their Passage. However, she was fatally wounded by the Quriq that dwell there. Unable to fight or even live any longer, Tyra wept until she died. To this day, Lazarus wonders if she truly died from her battle wounds, or from her own broken heart.

About: The second son of Kincaid and Anuvien, and the brother of Handel and Aether. Tenzo and his brothers matured just in time to help combat the zombie dragons that were attacking the survivors.
Tenzo began his Passage with his brothers, but sadly didn't make it past the Scorched Forest.

"I am the beauty that glows like the moon! I! AM! KATARINA!!"

About: Katarina was hatched from a Plague egg gifted to Qubine by the Plaguebringer out of recognition for his power and survival skills. She was immediately drawn to Beryl's theatrics and longed to be his partner. The two bonded easily, filling the lair with their bravado. Some dragons found it annoying, while others found it refreshing.
Katarina quite eagerly bred with Beryl, although she was somewhat enraged that Beryl had bred before. She quickly let that slide, and they anxiously bred their nest...only to lay one egg, which turned out to be stillborn.
Katarina began her Passage with Qubine's sons, Gaheris and Krashos. She died in the Scorched Forest from a Crowned Bonepriest's Bright Bolt.

Element: Nature
About: One of the twin sons of Qubine and Shayla. Because their father was the clan leader, Gaheris and Krashos felt overly pressured to with high expectations. Gaheris began his Passage with Krashos and Katarina, until Katarina died in the Scorched Forest. This left the brothers feeling guilty, and neglected their Passage for months. They finally resumed their Passage with Griffin, whom Qubine had trained to their level. Unfortunately, all three of them perished in the Forgotten Cave at the hands of the Serthis.

About: The other son of Qubine and Shayla. Krashos shared the guilt with Gaheris, attempting to live up to their father's high expectations, but failing when they lost Katarina in their Passage. About: A Tundra dragon hatched from an abandoned Earth egg. Griffin was a flirtatious floof, attempting to charm all the lady dragons in the clan. Griffin got a boost in his Passage when Qubine trained him to begin in the Scorched Forest. Griffin was assigned to replace Katarina in Gaheris and Krashos's team. However, he was the first to fall in the Forgotten Cave. Gaheris and Krashos were then doomed without a healer.

"I'm Redda. Because redder is better."

Element: Plague
About: A Plague Fae who joined the clan with the Nocturne girls, Nadya, Renelle, and Lexine. As her name suggests, Redda was quite fond of the color red, and was blessed with vivid red wings. She was rather detached from the clan, however. So when Decilla revealed her plans to spread the plague and destroy the clan to her Passage team, Redda went along with her plan. She never actually did anything to aid said plan, however.
Redda died in the Bamboo Falls while facing two Trick of the Light monsters and two Ethereal Tricksters...Ice and Light-based enemies, both of which are strong against Plague.

About: A Plague Fae who joined the clan with the Nocturne girls, Nadya, Renelle, and Lexine. As her name suggests, Redda was quite fond of the color red, and was blessed with vivid red wings. She was rather detached from the clan, however. So when Decilla revealed her plans to spread the plague and destroy the clan to her Passage team, Redda went along with her plan. She never actually did anything to aid said plan, however.
Redda died in the Bamboo Falls while facing two Trick of the Light monsters and two Ethereal Tricksters...Ice and Light-based enemies, both of which are strong against Plague.
