Kalma Clan info
Before the clan actually had a name, they were living in peace under the founders, Usha and Grim, and the clan's top warrior, Qubine. Usha loved to play matchmaker, bringing home new dragons who would make suitable mates for her existing clan members. One day, without warning, a crippling plague unleashed by the Plaguebringer, ravaged the clan, killing half of the dragons and incapacitating the other half. Qubine found himself the only dragon who was unaffected.
With the rest of the clan barely even able to move, Qubine realized that the only way he could fight the plague was to raise a whole new clan. The deity of the Nature flight, the Gladekeeper, granted him a single dragon egg to begin his task. Qubine worked to build his clan by going in search of orphaned dragon eggs and having the dragons breed when they were able. Additionally, he ordered them to train themselves to hopefully strengthen their resistance to the plague.
Unfortunately, the plague wasn't the only thing the clan needed to fight. Some of the more intelligent clans of beasts who were driven into hiding when dragonkind was born, had emerged from hiding, joining forces with a thirst for dragon blood. The Beastclan species include the Centaurs, the Serthis, the Talonok, the Longnecks, the Harpies, and the Maren.
After over a year of training and research, the plague was finally cured. But the threat of the Beastclans remains. Qubine was ready to step down as the clan leader and let Usha and Grim resume their leadership, but Usha turned it down. The clan Qubine had raised was his own, and was named the Kalma Clan. Usha and Grim's original clan became known as the Filia Clan.

Qubine orders his clan members to train themselves, to develop their own style of combat, and to find creative uses for their elemental abilities. In teams of three, the dragons go out to various areas of Sornieth to do battle with the Beastclans and the less intelligent (but equally powerful) monsters of the realm. This training journey became known as The Passage.
But unfortunately, not all dragons survive. Should a dragon fall, their surviving partners either wait for a replacement, or attempt to continue as a pair, so long as there is one fighter and one healer. Those who complete the Passage are considered the strongest dragons in the clan, and are widely respected. Aside from Qubine, Usha, and Grim (who completed their Passage before the plague began), only six others have completed it thus far: Azalea, Coco, Sabori, Kincaid, Malus, and Amadeus.
While the Kalma Clan dragons do utilize various elemental abilities, they do follow some common tactics and strategies. The Mirror and Guardian breeds do the physical work, while Faes and Tundras rely on casting. They train in three key areas: Strength/Power, speed, and endurance. The fighters press on their enemies with all of their might, attempting to take out their foes before they have a chance to strike. The enemy casters who hold an elemental advantage against them tend to be their first targets in a battle, followed by the physical fighters with an elemental advantage. The dragon casters are able to heal their allies, as well as cast offensive spells of their element. All casters also use an attack called Contuse, which temporarily reduces an opponent's attack power by 25%.
Some common spells among the casters include Haste, which gives a temporary speed boost; Bolster and Ward, which boosts physical and magical defense, respectively. Some casters also use a spell called Reflect on themselves or their allies, which will bounce any magical spell back towards the caster. The downside of Reflect is that it also repels any healing or buffing spells used on them, and it doesn't repel physical attacks. The dragons use Reflect to defend against enemy casters with the elemental advantage.
Because their lair is located in the Viridian Labyrinth, the clan is largely dominated by Nature dragons, which are weak against fire. There are a few other dragons with other elements, though; a couple of Ice dragons, and a couple of Plague dragons, who are also weak against fire. So with a few exceptions, fire is a major problem for many of the Kalma Clan dragons.

Breed: Fae Female
Size/Weight: Azalea's length is 0.59M with a wingspan of 1.69M. She weighs 2.36KG. She is the smallest of the female Faes.
Element: Fire
"It's a chance we'll have to take. Otherwise, we'll never be able to rebuild our clan."
About: Azalea was one of the dragons living in Usha and Grim's clan, and was one of the victims of the plague. Qubine, in desperate need of both female dragons to breed, and healers for the Passage, chose Azalea to receive treatment from the Gladekeeper so that she could breed with Coco. The treatment took several weeks. While the Gladekeeper was able to restore Azalea's strength, even she could not remove the plague from her body completely. When Azalea and Coco finally bred, they had three Fae babies. However, thanks to the plague, two of them were stillborn. The survivor was named Kincaid.
Despite her illness, Azalea volunteered to begin the Passage with two other female dragons, Anesia and Saphira. Saphira died at the hands of the Centaurs in the Scorched Forest. Replacing her was Anesia's son Steele, who later died at the hands of the Serthis in the Sandswept Delta. Anesia also died in the Delta, leaving Azalea without a team. So she joined Malus and Amadeus, who had lost their partner in the Scorched Forest. Together, the three were able to complete the Passage.
Being a Fire dragon herself, Azalea is able to resist fire better than most of her clan mates. Unfortunately, she doesn't have any significant advantage against fire either. She is one of the dragons who uses the Reflect spell. She gave up her Haste spell to bring the Shrieking Wilds to Genesia.
Living in the Nature flight has given her a sweet, nurturing personality, but her fire element can give her a real temper if she gets provoked. Despite her hardships, Azalea realizes that she's one of the luckiest dragons in that she was spared the pain of losing the dragons who are dearest to her.

Breed: Mirror Male
Size/Weight: Qubine's length is 6.44M with a wingspan of 4.99M. His weight is 447.41KG. He was the largest Mirror male of the clan (length-wise), until the new dragon Snowy came, beating his length by 0.06M. Although Snowy has a shorter wingspan, and is a lot heavier.
Element: Ice
About: Long before the plague, Qubine was considered the top warrior of the clan. Only he, Usha, and Grim had bothered to train themselves in combat, with the latter two reversing their natural abilities. Meaning that Usha is a Mirror who uses magic, while Grim is a Fae who chose physical combat. When the plague hit, Qubine began his mission to build a new clan to combat it.
As an Ice dragon, Qubine shows little to no emotion. He doesn't allow himself to get attached to many of his clan members, on account that they could die any day during their Passage. This sentiment was recently vindicated when two exceptions, his own sons, Gaheris and Krashos, were killed by the Serthis in the Forgotten Cave.
Qubine is the super serious dragon, and for good reason. The Passage is a dangerous journey, and Sornieth all around is a dangerous continent, and he's not afraid to remind his clan of that. He warns his clan of the dangers not to scare them, but to urge them to steel themselves. He is quick to show annoyance at certain clan members' shenanigans, and spits out sarcasm in response. If anyone commits any serious trouble, Qubine usually punishes them with a quick thrashing. Minor offenses are met with a good tongue lashing.
In battle, Qubine not only possesses the greatest physical strength, but he also possesses a brilliant tactical mind. He constantly reminds his clan to know their element, as it can make all the difference between survival and death.

Breed: Spiral Female
Size/Weight: Shayla has a length of 4.18M with a wingspan of 1.75M. Her weight is 85.14KG
Element: Ice
About: Shayla was another dragon in Usha and Grim's clan, and is also Qubine's mate. She fell ill when the plague hit, and thus was mostly inactive while Qubine worked to raise his new clan. When Orphne developed an experimental medicine to restore the sick dragons' strength, Shayla was one of the test subjects, and it worked. Shayla's strength was restored, but she was still sick.
Shayla is not as cold and hard as her Ice element would suggest. She is a gentle and serene sort, especially towards Qubine. Although Shayla is considered part of the Kalma Clan, she is a special case in that Qubine refuses to allow her to undertake the Passage out of fear of losing her. After recently losing his sons, he can't bear the thought of losing her. So Shayla is ordered to flee when danger comes, and Qubine will give his all to protect her.

Breed: Guardian Female
Size/Weight: Sabori is 17.09M in length with a wingspan of 14.02M. She weighs 10016.46KG. She is the largest of the Guardian dragons in the clan by a whole five meters (length-wise).
Element: Shadow
About: Sabori was originally part of Usha and Grim's clan when she fell ill to the plague with the rest of them. Fortunately, she had begun her Passage before the plague. When Coco and Kincaid lost their partner Kladeos during their Passage, Qubine had Sabori treated by the Gladekeeper to complete the Passage with them.
With her sheer size, tough scales, and the set of armor she wears, Sabori proves to be a formidable opponent, even for Qubine. She is also one of the few dragons who hold an elemental advantage against fire.

Breed: Mirror Male
Size/Weight: Coco is only 4.4M in length with a 3.81M wingspan. He weighs 455.11KG. He is the smallest of the male Mirrors (length-wise).
Element: Nature
About: Coco was the dragon who hatched from the single egg granted to Qubine by the Gladekeeper when the plague hit. Although Qubine had arranged for him to breed with Azalea as soon as they were able, Coco was instantly smitten by Azalea's beauty when he saw her.
Coco was one of the first to begin the Passage with the Guardian Kladeos, and the Fae named Dugan. However, Dugan died in the Scorched Forest, forcing Coco and Kladeos to put their training on hold. Coco and Azalea were fortunate enough to breed one surviving Fae named Kincaid, who took Dugan's place in the Passage. The three were able to advance all the way to the Waterway, where Kladeos was killed. This was a devastating loss for Coco, as he had considered Kladeos to be his best friend. When Sabori was ready to replace Kladeos, the team became the first to complete the Passage.
Coco and Azalea's love for each other only grew as they both undertook their passage, albeit on separate teams. Coco had developed a habit of being overprotective of Azalea, due to her being weakened by the plague. Although the plague is no longer an issue, and Azalea has become powerful in her own right, Coco hasn't been able to break his overprotectiveness.
Coco has developed a talent for stone carving, starting when he carved Dugan's name into a tombstone to mark his final resting place. He's been carving the tombstones for all the other fallen dragons ever since.

Size/Weight: Kincaid is 0.43M in length with a wingspan of 1.05M. His weight is 1.6KG. He is currently the smallest dragon in the entire clan.
Element: Nature
About: Kincaid is the sole surviving offspring of Coco and Azalea. He has a quiet personality, but when things get dicey, he wields his powerful magic. Kincaid was part of the first team to survive the Passage, along with his father Coco, and Sabori. Kincaid is tied with Usha as being the most powerful magic user in the clan. So do not be fooled by his size.

Breed: Guardian Male
Size/Weight: Malus is 12.37M with a wingspan of 15.57M. His weight is 10,228.73KG. Despite being smaller than Sabori, Malus somehow manages to be heavier.
Element: Water
"Flyin' be naught compared t' a good ol' voyage on th' open sea, lass."
About: Malus is a dragon who prefers to sail the seas than to fly, although his size and weight make that next to impossible. He tries hard to be a pirate, even developing the pirate speech habit. He was much more successful in the earlier days when he committed deeds, such as kidnapping Azalea. However, he came to regret it when he learned of Azalea's plague and got thrashed by Qubine. Malus really hadn't wanted to hurt Azalea; he had just found her beautiful. He still has feelings for her, but he keeps quiet about it, knowing that Coco would more than likely kill him for it.
Malus began his Passage with Amadeus and Xander. But Xander, like many other dragons, died in the Scorched Forest. Malus and Amadeus were joined (reluctantly) by Azalea, who had lost all of her Passage partners, and was roughly at the same level. Together, they became the second team to complete the Passage.
As a Water dragon, Malus is one of the few in the clan who holds an advantage against fire.

Breed: Tundra Male
Size/Weight: Amadeus is 2.98M in length with a wingspan of 3.49M. He weighs 379.66KG.
Element: Light
"I suppose this old body of mine just isn't meant for breeding..."
About: Amadeus was originally hatched as a Fae. As a hatchling, not only did he get into a breed change scroll to become a Tundra, he also got into a Maturity Scroll, transforming him into an adult prematurely. The Maturity Scroll also seems to have had some mental effects, as Amadeus has carried himself with an elderly attitude. He claims to be much older than he really is, and he addresses even the actual older dragons as "children".
In the Kalma Clan, Amadeus serves as the researcher and the record keeper. He keeps track of the Passage teams and keeps the record of all current clan members. He is also one who gathers information when needed. Despite his age (or lack thereof), he is looked up to and respected as one of the survivors of the Passage.

Breed: Imperial Female
Size/Weight: As an Imperial, Orphne is currently the largest dragon in the clan, with a whopping length of 29.68M and a wingspan of 19.86M. Her weight is 7217.27KG (somehow lighter than Malus).
Element: Arcane
About: As a hatchling, Orphne was found in the Woodland Path by Malus, Amadeus, and Xander while they were participating in their Passage. Upon reaching adulthood and learning of the plague, Orphne took it upon herself to study medicine and search for a cure. That work, along with undertaking the Passage with her sons Percival and Brahm, made her the busiest dragon in the clan.
It took over a year, but Orphne eventually found that the plague was of a magical nature, infecting the Gladekeeper herself and tainting her magics that brought nourishment to the lair. Thus explained why even the healthy dragons were producing stillborn offspring. So Orphne concocted a large potion for the Gladekeeper, leaving a small sample of it for the sick dragons. With that, the plague was finally eliminated.
Orphne had learned quite a bit with her medicine, including using poisons as cures. Personality-wise, despite being a titan, she is one of the gentlest. She doesn't consider herself all that strong. Currently, her Passage is still incomplete.
Name: Lazarus

Breed: Mirror Male
Size/Weight: Lazarus has a length of 5.28M and a wingspan of 5.13M. He weighs 637.82KG.
Element: Ice
About: Lazarus is one of the dragons who carries the "survivors' guilt". He originally began his Passage with a Fae named Beryl, and a Mirror named Tyra. They made it to the Bamboo Falls, where Tyra was killed. Lazarus and Beryl attempted to continue as a pair, but could not complete the Bamboo Falls before Beryl also fell. Lazarus has since joined Handel and Aether's team, after they had lost two mutual partners. Their Passage is still incomplete, but they are quite close. Only by completing it without losing Handel or Aether will Lazarus regain his self-esteem.
Lazarus is often referred to as the "dragon in shining armor" by his clan mates.

Size/Weight: Handel has a length of 0.5M with a wingspan of 0.89M. He weighs 1.45KG.
Element: Nature
About: Handel is one of Kincaid's three sons (and one of Azalea's grandsons). Handel originally began his Passage with his two brothers, Tenzo and Aether. Unfortunately, they lost Tenzo in the Scorched Forest. Their replacement was a Tundra named Merrick, who perished in the Bamboo Falls. Handel and Aether were able to complete the Bamboo Falls as a pair before being joined by Lazarus. Of the incomplete Passages, this team is the closest to reaching the goal.

About: A dragon who was born into the Kalma Clan. He's been undertaking his Passage with his two sisters, Kitty and Brenna. This team has the distinction of being the first to not suffer any casualties thus far. Their Passage is still incomplete, but they are trailing closely behind Lazarus, Handel, and Aether.

The clan regards her as one of the fiercest female fighters. Kitty knows that it was her father who gave her this name, though she has no idea why. Unfortunately, she cannot even ask, due to both of her parents being deceased.

About: The one dragon in the set of triplets with a radically different appearance from her red-colored Mirror siblings. Although Reiko and Kitty do not isolate Brenna as Ariana and Sterling had done to Tyra, Brenna still often feels "left out." Nevertheless, her healing abilities have no doubt kept the three siblings alive in their Passage thus far.

"Mad? Whyever would you think that?"
About: Percival is one of the twin sons of Amadeus and Orphne. He's been learning medicine from Orphne so he could continue the search for a cure in case something happened to her. However, Percival and his twin brother Brahm have developed an almost creepy obsession with all things science. They've been studying alchemy under the master alchemist Baldwin.
Percival and Brahm share a very similar mind. They always seem to be reading each other's thoughts, and often finish each other's sentences. They also speak in unison quite frequently, another trait that seems to freak out the rest of the clan.

About: Percival's twin brother, the other son of Amadeus and Orphne. Percival and Brahm seem alike in many ways, but one difference in their personalities is that Brahm tends to be the follower, going along with whatever Percival does or says.

About: One of the three Nocturne girls who wandered into the Kalma Clan lair to cause mischief when the Nocturne breed first surfaced. The three are very vain and prideful. They are undertaking the Passage together. They remain with the clan because they all have a crush on Qubine.

Size/Weight: Renelle has a length of 4.5M and a wingspan of 4.93M. She weighs 704.37KG. Despite being the smallest of the three Nocturne girls, she is the heaviest.

About: The second of the three Nocturne girls to join the clan when the breed first surfaced. When they began their Passage, Renelle chose to learn magic so she could train with her fellow Nocturne girls, who view each other as sisters, although they are not biologically related.

Size/Weight: Decilla has a length of 11.67M with a wingspan of 12.9M. She weighs 6412.29KG.
Element: Plague
"Alas, poor Qubine...he's going to have many more sick dragons on his talons. Or even better, some dead dragons. And if he's lucky, he might even be one of them."
About: Decilla originally joined the clan as an infiltrator, attempting to spread the plague further on the Plaguebringer's behalf, and to eliminate the dragons who would threaten that goal. Her primary target was Orphne, followed closely by her family, Amadeus, Percival, and Brahm. Qubine was also a huge threat, due to being the strongest dragon in general.
Wanting to kill Orphne without getting her talons dirty, Decilla led her into a Beastclan trap, leading to Orphne's capture. However, the rest of the clan managed to rescue her. Qubine ordered Decilla to begin her Passage as punishment. Decilla chose her fellow Plague dragons, Redda and Rafadel, to be her partners. When the plague was cured, the Plaguebringer considered Decilla a failure and cut off contact with her. Despite her misdeeds, Qubine took pity on her and let her stay with the clan. Decilla still wants to destroy the clan, and she wants to reform Rafadel into the disease-spreading Plague dragon that she was born to be. But first Decilla has to complete her Passage...but unfortunately, Redda's recent death has made that task all the more difficult.

Size/Weight: Xylina has a length of 0.82M with a wingspan of 1.85M. She weighs 2.4KG.
Element: Fire
About: Xylina is a Fae who, along with Rafadel and Donovan, were chased by the Beastclans before being rescued by Malus, Amadeus, and Azalea. Xylina remains with the Kalma Clan, though she has not yet begun her Passage.

Size/Weight: Rafadel has a length of 1.17M with a wingspan of 0.97M. She weighs 1.59KG. She is the largest Fae in the clan.
Element: Plague
About: After learning the Kalma Clan's situation regarding the plague, Rafadel felt guilty. Despite being a Plague dragon, she doesn't enjoy spreading disease around. She was practically dragged out to begin her Passage with Decilla and Redda. Decilla has been putting the peer pressure on Rafadel to be a true Plague dragon and spread the disease. However, a visit to a fortune teller revealed that there may be more to the Plague element than simply spreading disease. Rafadel is still searching for the true meaning of the Plague element.

Size/Weight: Cane has a length of 4.36M with a wingspan of 5.19M. He weighs 503.77KG

About: Cane is a newer member of the Kalma Clan, who simply wishes to be a dragon in shining armor like Lazarus. He has recently begun his passage with Liora and Snowy. Cane considers himself to be a rival to Lazarus, even though Lazarus is way ahead of him.

Size/Weight: Snowy has a length of 6.5M with a wingspan of 3.99M. He weighs 650.91KG. He's the only male Mirror to trump Qubine in size, although his wingspan is shorter.

About: The newest member of the Kalma Clan. Despite being a Fire dragon, Snowy was named for his ice-colored scales and teal wings. So far he has bonded with Kitty over their pitiful names. Snowy is just beginning his Passage with Cane and Liora.

About: Liora was held captive in the Waterway by the Maren Beastclan before she was rescued by Reiko, Kitty, and Brenna. They brought her back to the clan, where Liora revealed that she's on a mission to find a legendary Fae of Light, who would lead all of dragonkind to an age of prosperity. Knowing that the Beastclans were driven to destroy dragonkind, their reasons for wanting Liora alive remain a mystery.

Should a dragon fall, their surviving partners either wait for a replacement, or attempt to continue as a pair, so long as there is one fighter and one healer. Those who complete the Passage are considered the strongest dragons in the clan, and are widely respected. Aside from Qubine, Usha, and Grim (who completed their Passage before the plague began), only six others have completed it thus far: Azalea, Coco, Sabori, Kincaid, Malus, and Amadeus.
Combat
While the Kalma Clan dragons do utilize various elemental abilities, they do follow some common tactics and strategies. The Mirror and Guardian breeds do the physical work, while Faes and Tundras rely on casting. They train in three key areas: Strength/Power, speed, and endurance. The fighters press on their enemies with all of their might, attempting to take out their foes before they have a chance to strike. The enemy casters who hold an elemental advantage against them tend to be their first targets in a battle, followed by the physical fighters with an elemental advantage. The dragon casters are able to heal their allies, as well as cast offensive spells of their element. All casters also use an attack called Contuse, which temporarily reduces an opponent's attack power by 25%.
Some common spells among the casters include Haste, which gives a temporary speed boost; Bolster and Ward, which boosts physical and magical defense, respectively. Some casters also use a spell called Reflect on themselves or their allies, which will bounce any magical spell back towards the caster. The downside of Reflect is that it also repels any healing or buffing spells used on them, and it doesn't repel physical attacks. The dragons use Reflect to defend against enemy casters with the elemental advantage.
Because their lair is located in the Viridian Labyrinth, the clan is largely dominated by Nature dragons, which are weak against fire. There are a few other dragons with other elements, though; a couple of Ice dragons, and a couple of Plague dragons, who are also weak against fire. So with a few exceptions, fire is a major problem for many of the Kalma Clan dragons.

Size/Weight: Azalea's length is 0.59M with a wingspan of 1.69M. She weighs 2.36KG. She is the smallest of the female Faes.

"It's a chance we'll have to take. Otherwise, we'll never be able to rebuild our clan."
About: Azalea was one of the dragons living in Usha and Grim's clan, and was one of the victims of the plague. Qubine, in desperate need of both female dragons to breed, and healers for the Passage, chose Azalea to receive treatment from the Gladekeeper so that she could breed with Coco. The treatment took several weeks. While the Gladekeeper was able to restore Azalea's strength, even she could not remove the plague from her body completely. When Azalea and Coco finally bred, they had three Fae babies. However, thanks to the plague, two of them were stillborn. The survivor was named Kincaid.
Despite her illness, Azalea volunteered to begin the Passage with two other female dragons, Anesia and Saphira. Saphira died at the hands of the Centaurs in the Scorched Forest. Replacing her was Anesia's son Steele, who later died at the hands of the Serthis in the Sandswept Delta. Anesia also died in the Delta, leaving Azalea without a team. So she joined Malus and Amadeus, who had lost their partner in the Scorched Forest. Together, the three were able to complete the Passage.
Being a Fire dragon herself, Azalea is able to resist fire better than most of her clan mates. Unfortunately, she doesn't have any significant advantage against fire either. She is one of the dragons who uses the Reflect spell. She gave up her Haste spell to bring the Shrieking Wilds to Genesia.
Living in the Nature flight has given her a sweet, nurturing personality, but her fire element can give her a real temper if she gets provoked. Despite her hardships, Azalea realizes that she's one of the luckiest dragons in that she was spared the pain of losing the dragons who are dearest to her.

Size/Weight: Qubine's length is 6.44M with a wingspan of 4.99M. His weight is 447.41KG. He was the largest Mirror male of the clan (length-wise), until the new dragon Snowy came, beating his length by 0.06M. Although Snowy has a shorter wingspan, and is a lot heavier.
Element: Ice
About: Long before the plague, Qubine was considered the top warrior of the clan. Only he, Usha, and Grim had bothered to train themselves in combat, with the latter two reversing their natural abilities. Meaning that Usha is a Mirror who uses magic, while Grim is a Fae who chose physical combat. When the plague hit, Qubine began his mission to build a new clan to combat it.
As an Ice dragon, Qubine shows little to no emotion. He doesn't allow himself to get attached to many of his clan members, on account that they could die any day during their Passage. This sentiment was recently vindicated when two exceptions, his own sons, Gaheris and Krashos, were killed by the Serthis in the Forgotten Cave.
Qubine is the super serious dragon, and for good reason. The Passage is a dangerous journey, and Sornieth all around is a dangerous continent, and he's not afraid to remind his clan of that. He warns his clan of the dangers not to scare them, but to urge them to steel themselves. He is quick to show annoyance at certain clan members' shenanigans, and spits out sarcasm in response. If anyone commits any serious trouble, Qubine usually punishes them with a quick thrashing. Minor offenses are met with a good tongue lashing.
In battle, Qubine not only possesses the greatest physical strength, but he also possesses a brilliant tactical mind. He constantly reminds his clan to know their element, as it can make all the difference between survival and death.

Size/Weight: Shayla has a length of 4.18M with a wingspan of 1.75M. Her weight is 85.14KG
Element: Ice
About: Shayla was another dragon in Usha and Grim's clan, and is also Qubine's mate. She fell ill when the plague hit, and thus was mostly inactive while Qubine worked to raise his new clan. When Orphne developed an experimental medicine to restore the sick dragons' strength, Shayla was one of the test subjects, and it worked. Shayla's strength was restored, but she was still sick.
Shayla is not as cold and hard as her Ice element would suggest. She is a gentle and serene sort, especially towards Qubine. Although Shayla is considered part of the Kalma Clan, she is a special case in that Qubine refuses to allow her to undertake the Passage out of fear of losing her. After recently losing his sons, he can't bear the thought of losing her. So Shayla is ordered to flee when danger comes, and Qubine will give his all to protect her.

Size/Weight: Sabori is 17.09M in length with a wingspan of 14.02M. She weighs 10016.46KG. She is the largest of the Guardian dragons in the clan by a whole five meters (length-wise).

About: Sabori was originally part of Usha and Grim's clan when she fell ill to the plague with the rest of them. Fortunately, she had begun her Passage before the plague. When Coco and Kincaid lost their partner Kladeos during their Passage, Qubine had Sabori treated by the Gladekeeper to complete the Passage with them.
With her sheer size, tough scales, and the set of armor she wears, Sabori proves to be a formidable opponent, even for Qubine. She is also one of the few dragons who hold an elemental advantage against fire.

Size/Weight: Coco is only 4.4M in length with a 3.81M wingspan. He weighs 455.11KG. He is the smallest of the male Mirrors (length-wise).
Element: Nature
About: Coco was the dragon who hatched from the single egg granted to Qubine by the Gladekeeper when the plague hit. Although Qubine had arranged for him to breed with Azalea as soon as they were able, Coco was instantly smitten by Azalea's beauty when he saw her.
Coco was one of the first to begin the Passage with the Guardian Kladeos, and the Fae named Dugan. However, Dugan died in the Scorched Forest, forcing Coco and Kladeos to put their training on hold. Coco and Azalea were fortunate enough to breed one surviving Fae named Kincaid, who took Dugan's place in the Passage. The three were able to advance all the way to the Waterway, where Kladeos was killed. This was a devastating loss for Coco, as he had considered Kladeos to be his best friend. When Sabori was ready to replace Kladeos, the team became the first to complete the Passage.
Coco and Azalea's love for each other only grew as they both undertook their passage, albeit on separate teams. Coco had developed a habit of being overprotective of Azalea, due to her being weakened by the plague. Although the plague is no longer an issue, and Azalea has become powerful in her own right, Coco hasn't been able to break his overprotectiveness.
Coco has developed a talent for stone carving, starting when he carved Dugan's name into a tombstone to mark his final resting place. He's been carving the tombstones for all the other fallen dragons ever since.

About: Kincaid is the sole surviving offspring of Coco and Azalea. He has a quiet personality, but when things get dicey, he wields his powerful magic. Kincaid was part of the first team to survive the Passage, along with his father Coco, and Sabori. Kincaid is tied with Usha as being the most powerful magic user in the clan. So do not be fooled by his size.

Size/Weight: Malus is 12.37M with a wingspan of 15.57M. His weight is 10,228.73KG. Despite being smaller than Sabori, Malus somehow manages to be heavier.

About: Malus is a dragon who prefers to sail the seas than to fly, although his size and weight make that next to impossible. He tries hard to be a pirate, even developing the pirate speech habit. He was much more successful in the earlier days when he committed deeds, such as kidnapping Azalea. However, he came to regret it when he learned of Azalea's plague and got thrashed by Qubine. Malus really hadn't wanted to hurt Azalea; he had just found her beautiful. He still has feelings for her, but he keeps quiet about it, knowing that Coco would more than likely kill him for it.
Malus began his Passage with Amadeus and Xander. But Xander, like many other dragons, died in the Scorched Forest. Malus and Amadeus were joined (reluctantly) by Azalea, who had lost all of her Passage partners, and was roughly at the same level. Together, they became the second team to complete the Passage.
As a Water dragon, Malus is one of the few in the clan who holds an advantage against fire.

Size/Weight: Amadeus is 2.98M in length with a wingspan of 3.49M. He weighs 379.66KG.

About: Amadeus was originally hatched as a Fae. As a hatchling, not only did he get into a breed change scroll to become a Tundra, he also got into a Maturity Scroll, transforming him into an adult prematurely. The Maturity Scroll also seems to have had some mental effects, as Amadeus has carried himself with an elderly attitude. He claims to be much older than he really is, and he addresses even the actual older dragons as "children".
In the Kalma Clan, Amadeus serves as the researcher and the record keeper. He keeps track of the Passage teams and keeps the record of all current clan members. He is also one who gathers information when needed. Despite his age (or lack thereof), he is looked up to and respected as one of the survivors of the Passage.

Size/Weight: As an Imperial, Orphne is currently the largest dragon in the clan, with a whopping length of 29.68M and a wingspan of 19.86M. Her weight is 7217.27KG (somehow lighter than Malus).
Element: Arcane
About: As a hatchling, Orphne was found in the Woodland Path by Malus, Amadeus, and Xander while they were participating in their Passage. Upon reaching adulthood and learning of the plague, Orphne took it upon herself to study medicine and search for a cure. That work, along with undertaking the Passage with her sons Percival and Brahm, made her the busiest dragon in the clan.
It took over a year, but Orphne eventually found that the plague was of a magical nature, infecting the Gladekeeper herself and tainting her magics that brought nourishment to the lair. Thus explained why even the healthy dragons were producing stillborn offspring. So Orphne concocted a large potion for the Gladekeeper, leaving a small sample of it for the sick dragons. With that, the plague was finally eliminated.
Orphne had learned quite a bit with her medicine, including using poisons as cures. Personality-wise, despite being a titan, she is one of the gentlest. She doesn't consider herself all that strong. Currently, her Passage is still incomplete.
Name: Lazarus

Breed: Mirror Male
Size/Weight: Lazarus has a length of 5.28M and a wingspan of 5.13M. He weighs 637.82KG.
Element: Ice
About: Lazarus is one of the dragons who carries the "survivors' guilt". He originally began his Passage with a Fae named Beryl, and a Mirror named Tyra. They made it to the Bamboo Falls, where Tyra was killed. Lazarus and Beryl attempted to continue as a pair, but could not complete the Bamboo Falls before Beryl also fell. Lazarus has since joined Handel and Aether's team, after they had lost two mutual partners. Their Passage is still incomplete, but they are quite close. Only by completing it without losing Handel or Aether will Lazarus regain his self-esteem.
Lazarus is often referred to as the "dragon in shining armor" by his clan mates.

About: Handel is one of Kincaid's three sons (and one of Azalea's grandsons). Handel originally began his Passage with his two brothers, Tenzo and Aether. Unfortunately, they lost Tenzo in the Scorched Forest. Their replacement was a Tundra named Merrick, who perished in the Bamboo Falls. Handel and Aether were able to complete the Bamboo Falls as a pair before being joined by Lazarus. Of the incomplete Passages, this team is the closest to reaching the goal.

Percival and Brahm share a very similar mind. They always seem to be reading each other's thoughts, and often finish each other's sentences. They also speak in unison quite frequently, another trait that seems to freak out the rest of the clan.

About: Decilla originally joined the clan as an infiltrator, attempting to spread the plague further on the Plaguebringer's behalf, and to eliminate the dragons who would threaten that goal. Her primary target was Orphne, followed closely by her family, Amadeus, Percival, and Brahm. Qubine was also a huge threat, due to being the strongest dragon in general.
Wanting to kill Orphne without getting her talons dirty, Decilla led her into a Beastclan trap, leading to Orphne's capture. However, the rest of the clan managed to rescue her. Qubine ordered Decilla to begin her Passage as punishment. Decilla chose her fellow Plague dragons, Redda and Rafadel, to be her partners. When the plague was cured, the Plaguebringer considered Decilla a failure and cut off contact with her. Despite her misdeeds, Qubine took pity on her and let her stay with the clan. Decilla still wants to destroy the clan, and she wants to reform Rafadel into the disease-spreading Plague dragon that she was born to be. But first Decilla has to complete her Passage...but unfortunately, Redda's recent death has made that task all the more difficult.

About: After learning the Kalma Clan's situation regarding the plague, Rafadel felt guilty. Despite being a Plague dragon, she doesn't enjoy spreading disease around. She was practically dragged out to begin her Passage with Decilla and Redda. Decilla has been putting the peer pressure on Rafadel to be a true Plague dragon and spread the disease. However, a visit to a fortune teller revealed that there may be more to the Plague element than simply spreading disease. Rafadel is still searching for the true meaning of the Plague element.

About: Liora was held captive in the Waterway by the Maren Beastclan before she was rescued by Reiko, Kitty, and Brenna. They brought her back to the clan, where Liora revealed that she's on a mission to find a legendary Fae of Light, who would lead all of dragonkind to an age of prosperity. Knowing that the Beastclans were driven to destroy dragonkind, their reasons for wanting Liora alive remain a mystery.
